BSOD Memory Management 0x1a New Build, Fresh OS Install

    Gents,

Running into a few problems with my new computer build (details in profile) and would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.

Quickly, its a new build and a fresh Windows 10 x64 install.

I have ran memtest86 for about 6 hours without any errors yet, I plan to let it run for atleast 12 hours next round.
I have taken out my graphics card (Strix 970) and still get blue screens.
It seems to happen no matter if i'm idle or stressing the system with Prime95.
I'm also running Driver Versifier without a BSOD yet.

Can anyone tell from my dump file if it seems to be a driver or hardware issue?
I have a limited amount of time to RMA stuff!

Edit: I spoke too soon, still getting multiple BSOD.
I had to restore my system so I lost some of the dump files but i'll post the most recent before my computer crashes again.

    Thanks.

    :)

    BSOD on boot

The minidump file did not give much information on the crash.

Can you ensure KB4022716 is installed to update the OS build:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4022716

If the BSOD persists post back with the minidump file(s).

Some general information on the crash:

    Bug Check 0x1A MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

Parameter 1 was 0x783 which is not listed and may be "unknown".

    Few bugchecks/BSOD's

Ok, so today i've had multiple BSOD's related to the driver "nt_wrong_symbols.sys", one of them spat out a MEMORY MANAGEMENT error along with it and the other just the afforementioned driver. Both during just browsing my PC and getting oin with an Assignment,
as well as watching a Movie. This Windows Installation is brand new and is through the Media Creation Tool over on MS's site, which is why this is confusiing me.

    Bugchecks are as follows:

    0x1A (0x4477, 0xEEDE0007, 0x0, 0x0)

    Crashdumps are as follows:

    MsInfo as folllows:

Has any crash occured more then 1 time?
If not, then it isn't something to worry about. Windows fixes crashes that occurs 1 time *Smile

It has been a couple days now with no more BSOD.

I had prior multiple BSOD when I had windows 7 installed but that was a pirated copy but now I have legit windows 10.

I left the computer running all day while I am at work and will check when I get home.
If anything changes I'll update the thread.

    Thanks!

    Getting multiple new BSOD now.

I thought my troubles were over but I was wrong.
I had to restore from a previous restore point so I lost some dump files.
Can anyone glean any information from the new dump?
New build, new windows 10 install. Makes 0 sense wtf.
No OC, bios set to "optimal defaults".
    Minimal programs installed.
Crashes when running prime95 within a few minutes and sometimes when i'm doing nothing at all.

    More dump files for review.

Anyone live around the DC area? Will pay to help get this fixed.

Is the DM Log Collector from the Windows 7 Help Forums?

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

    • Uninstall Daemon Tools
    • Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
      • Double click the executable to open it
      • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

    Thanks for the reply.

I uninstalled Daemon Tools and have been running Prime95 blend test for about 1 hour now without a crash.
Usually it crashes in the first few minutes.

I ran Memtest86 last night ( Not Memtest86+ but I can run that if you think it is better) without any errors but it did mention I could have a problem with the Hammer test (test 13 I think).

I'm buying a new set of ram and RMAing the old set just to be safe.

You are correct, that is from the Windows 7 dump tool, I can repost a Windows 10 dump using the tool if it helps.
I accidently used the Windows 7 tool because I originally had Windows 7 installed when all of this started with my new build. I am now on a fresh install of Windows 10 ( not an upgrade).

    Thanks again.

The Windows 7 tool is a little different from the Windows 8 and Windows 10 tool, because the systems are different.
Please run the Windows 10 tool and upload a new zip file.

New windows 10 dump file posted below using windows 10 dump tool as requested.

So after deleting Daemon Tools I have ran Prime95 Blend test for 4 hours with no BSOD.
I also ran intel burn in test for 20 runs without a BSOD either.

Fingers crossed Daemon Tools was the root cause.

    Thanks!
