    BSOD - Multiple - SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION - KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDL

    Multiple BSODS on my pc.
This is a *relatively* fresh install of windows 10 professional

System was running fine for approximately 6-8 hours and then suddenly ran into multiple BSODS:

    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
    SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

    :)

  2. My laptop is getting multiple BSODs frequently

Hi, my laptop is getting multiple BSODs, when using the operating system or while on startup, the codes are:

    MEMORY_MAGNAMENT

    BAD_POOL_HEADER

    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    SYSTEM_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

    SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

The most common are MEMORY_MAGNAMENT, KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

My computer was diagnosed that it has one RAM Slot (of the 2 it has) broken, so the technichian re installed Windows 10 anyways, it was fine until yesterday
when i started getting multiple BSODs frequently, I tried changing the RAM to another I have, same thing.

Oh and by the way, my USB port works (with problems) on Windows, but when I try to boot my USB from the BIOS the USB doesnt show there.

I dont think its a driver issue because before that problem i was using Windows 10 and it was working fine, also my laptop has official Windows 10 drivers,
    it's a Lenovo G405.

Oh and also my DVD Drive stopped reading disks, it still turns on but it reads nothing.

    What is happening?

i reinstalled my Nvidia drivers and deleted my Kaspersky antivirus.

    Now i got other BSOD's right now. First "kmode_exception_not_handled" and second "system_service_exception" and 3th and 4th "driver_verifier_detected_violation"

    new minidump
    here

    Thanks in advance!

    BSOD - Multiple - SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION - KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDL

    Hi AimWorks,

    Welcome to the 10forums.

It looks like Google Chrome requested extra memory from the Virtual Memory but was not allowed to do so.
Please update/reinstall or uninstall Google Chrome.

Thanks for your rapid response Axe0!

It's interesting how chrome could cause so many issues - I actually just installed it today.

To follow up though, some of these blue-screens have occurred once I reach the Win 10 login screen. I'll either get blue-screened either as I'm typing in the password or shortly after I've hit enter. Then i'll basically reach a bluescreen loop where I attempt to log in -> bluescreen - > restart -> attempt to log in - > bluescreen -> restart (and repeat)

Actually this JUST happened to me (3 times), while I was trying to login on my desktop to reply here.
I eventually managed to log in by starting windows once in safe mode (but I did not do anything else) and then rebooting in normal mode

These 3 dmp files are blue screens that occurred while logging in (this just occurred moments ago)
    101515-6750-01.dmp
    101515-6750-01.dmp
    101515-6750-01.dmp

    I attached them in a new set - ARTURIA-Thu_10_15_2015__32923_38

Is this still the result of chrome or is there something else/other factors in play that are causing these BSODs

Thank you again for all your help!

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

I accidentally got Memtest86 (without the plus) and I'm currently letting it run.
Once this test completes, I'll run Memtest86+ as you instructed.

One thing I noticed was Memtest86+ hasn't been updated in a while, will it support DDR4 memory testing?

That is a question I cannot answer, I would doubt it as MT86+ hasn't updates in a while but I've seen it working and not working with DDR4.

On Memtest86, initially I ran 4 passes (default settings - I know you said to run at least 8) earlier today and it completed without error. I was going to run Memtest86+ but I couldn't get that to properly work so I went back to Passmark's Memtest86.

I just set Memtest86 to run 10 passes and it immediately triggered 19 errors. I'll let this test continue on as I head to bed and post the results once it finishes.

I just wanted to ask based on these preliminary results, is this conclusive enough to rule bad memory (either bad RAM, a bad slot on my motherboard or both)?

Thanks again for your continued support and help!

1 error is enough to say either a bad stick or bad slot is causing this.
Depending on how much sticks you have, you need to test each stick in each used slot separately from the other(s) which is time consuming.

Replaced the RAM but not the Mobo.

Got another BSOD, would you mind taking a look for me?
I was using Bitdefender Internet Security right when it happened.

I know internet security tools can cause BSODS and drivers to lock up sometimes so I wanted to see what caused this.

As you say Bitdefender, the active virus control driver has been flagged
