Windows 10: BSOD NMI_HARDWARE_FAILURE HSL.DLL

I hope someone here can help me with this. Randomly, but several times a day, I am getting a BSOD referenced in the title. I have checked memory several times and everything seems to check out fine. I even put the original memory that came in the laptop back in and it still happens.

BSOD "NMI_hardware_failure" when booting the pc


The Event log has many, many errors like this:





So I'd say you have a bad hard drive.

Run HDTune to

• check the health,
• scan for errors, not quick scan but full scan
• run a benchmark.

You can also try the various options available with chkdsk.

Also, trhere were no dumps with the zip file you uploaded. Are you running any programs to cleanup your hard drive, like CCleaner. If so, stop using it until this problem is resolved so we don't lose any dumps that are created.

 

DLL Missing

The problem is, that the required DLL is not actually even listed there.
There are just dozens of download adware links from the top to the bottom.

Why don't I just go back and indicate that on my original post? That way there's access to the 'step-by-step' instructions, which are accessed via those green 'plus' signs next to the topics.
