    BSOD, now can't boot

Sorry for the delay, I tried running the diagnostics remotely via TeamViewer but my Mum's PC crashed and disconnected me after about 7% of SFC! I've just run it locally twice though (once after rebooting) and it didn't find any errors. My Mum said she thought the crashes might be happening when her backup program (Bvckup) runs though, so I shut that down first and have disabled it from running on boot for now.

Just running HDTune now. There's only a SSD in this PC, so I'll skip Seatools as advised and go straight to chkdsk /r after.

Sorry for the further delay, I only just got round to it again. I thought my Mum's PC might be OK with the backup software disabled but she says it's still been freezing, forcing her to power-cycle to reboot.

I've attached the HDTune screenshots and chkdsk log. For chkdsk I had to let it run on the next boot as the drive was locked. I watched it and for C: it stopped counting at 21% complete until it finished several minutes later and for D: it stopped counting at 16% but the animated circle continued and both drives eventually completed and the log looks OK, so it just seems to be a bug in the progress display.

It isn't a bug in the process, the progress is shown in stages.
The first 3/4 stages go quickly, because it isn't much to go through (compared to a few things), the last (2) stage(s) take the most time because then chkdsk is scanning the user files and free space.

Well I've done a fresh install of Win10 and it's still freezing up completely after not very long. Any other ideas before I give up and revert back to Win8.1?

If it freezes again after a clean install you'll want to check the physical part of the system, i.e. is everything compatible, is everything properly connected, is there enough power, etc.
