Windows 10: BSOD on Asus TUF FA507NVR, possible cause??

Hi! I recently bought a new laptop, the Asus TUF FA507NVR, with a Ryzen 7 7435HS, RTX 4060, and 32GB RAM. I'm using three external monitors for my work.I’ve also upgraded the storage, adding a 2TB SSD in the second slot while keeping the original 1TB SSD in the first slot.I noticed that my second monitor supports 75Hz, while the other two are limited to 60Hz. So, I adjusted olny one to 75Hz. However, after taking a 2-hour break and turning my laptop back on, I encountered a BSOD error details below.I’ve since reverted the refresh rate back to 60Hz, but I’m wondering—what could have caused th

Repeated crashes and BSOD on ASUS TUF A15

Same issues here, only on an Asus TUF A17 FA706IU (same CPU). Crashes, G/BSOD, freezing on sleep, random reboots w/o BSOD, etc.

And I've tried much of what everybody here as tried:

• Clean install of Win10 and Win11 (many times!)
  
• Using NVIDIA and AMD drivers as opposed to Asus-provided drivers
  
• Swapped out RAM and M.2 drives 3x (meaning different RAM and M.2 drives)
  
• Ran all the usual diag. software and stress-tests (no definitive results)
  
• And so much more...
  

I've yet to try Fadjri Aladin's solution, which a goodly number of folks on this thread have endorsed--I will try soon.

Clearly, Asus is at fault here. We could, of course, put the onus on AMD, but it's on Asus to assure the stability of their builds.

I've been in IT (hardware side) since the mid-late 80's and have built many custom PCs over the years and serviced 100's PCs as well. This laptop is the buggiest and most troublesome computer I've ever owned and tops the list of any I've worked over the last 30+ years. That's saying something. Most of the custom gaming rigs I've put together (for myself and my clients) have been built around Asus mobos. So I'm a fan. This machine has significantly dampened my enthusiasm for all things Asus. Sad...

Repeated crashes and BSOD on ASUS TUF A15

Hello everyone.

At first time, I thought that the cause of the BSOD problem was the drivers. But after I reinstalled the drivers the BSOD message keeps coming back within days. So, after a couple of months without BSOD, i probably have a solution for you but it will cost your CPU power

And here are the following steps to manage the BSOD :

1. Right-click on the Battery logo on the taskbar
   
2. Choose the power options menu
   
3. Change the plan settings you are using
   
4. Click on advanced power settings
   
5. Look for processor power management tree
   
6. Set the Minimum processor state at 99%
   
7. Set the Maximum processor state at 99%

Event 6008 The previous system shutdown was unexpected for ASUS TUF A17

BSOD caused due to the following files

on 08th march AuthenticAMD.sys

on 11th march AuthenticAMD.sys

on 12th march ntkrnlmp.exe

Latest BSOD error, there is no exact solution, But for first two errors, you need to install the latest AMD graphics WHQL driver from Asus website

I checked the technical specs and overview of your laptop, and I found your laptop has USB3.2 Gen 2 type C DP1.4

So you should connect the monitor via display port 1.4 version port in the monitor to type C port in the laptop

Also, your laptop has an HDMI 2.0b port. So connect the monitor which should support HDMI 2.0b version
