Windows 10: BSOD only playing madden (controller causing it?)

Hi guys I was wondering if you would help with blue screen's I am getting only while playing Madden 20. Anywhere from 10 minutes - 1 hour of gameplay i get a bsod. Temps when I crash are 50-60 degrees. I play csgo, fortnite and warzone for hours and hours at a time and have never crashed before madden. I’ve noticed this has only occurred when my ps4 controller is plugged in.

The blue screens I get are IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA UNEXPECTED KERNAL MODE TRAP

I've run the windows mem check and it came back fine, but will run a memtest over night.

[SOLVED] Multiple random BSODs, all pointing to the kernel


No BSODs yet but I haven't been playing World of Warcraft which I suspect to be a possible cause.

Was the driver verifier step necessary or just a suggestion?

BSOD Hardware Caused???

they do weird things like that, which all seem like something else is failing.
One of the worst things to diagnose, they seem to only quit when they want to.

Memtest is a good next step, if you rule out RAM and Power Supply make sure you disconnect all unnecessary peripherals and try to start the system with as little hardware as possible, if it works then, you can narrow down the culprit by trial and error.

It's very difficult to determine if a failure is caused by the CPU because many other components can cause the same symptom when they fail.

1. System fails to boot
2. System re-boots intermittently
3. General Protection Fault
4. Illegal Operation
