Windows 10: BSOD only when booting Minecraft (both Java and Win10 editions)

I have been getting varying BSOD errors (different one almost every time) only when trying to load a minecraft world or server while the launcher works fine. This happens in both PC editions of the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Minecraft: Java Edition Not Responding!

I don't see advanced settings and which app is it Minecraft or java?

 

Cannot get Minecraft Java Edition for free after purchasing Minecraft Windows 10 edition

I accidentally purchased Minecraft Windows 10 edition without knowing that i cannot get Minecraft Java edition for free by purchasing windows 10 edition .Mojang is providing free windows 10 edition for those who purchased Minecraft Java Edition.Why doesn't
it work other way around when the price is same for both products.Pleease help me.

link to download the game.

You'll be asked to enter a game code. If you don't have the code, kindly perform the following steps:

• Sign in with your Mojang account.
• Under Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition, select the link to request a code. The Windows 10 Store will open.
  
  Note: You'll need to sign in to or create a Microsoft account. If you sign in, use the Microsoft account you use to sign in to your Xbox account.
• If you're running Windows 10, you'll be able to download the game right after redeeming your code. If you're running an earlier operating system, you'll need to come back to the Windows Store once you're running Windows 10.
