BSOD playing Games like CIV 6

While playing my Computer randomly crashes. It happended several times now and i don't know where the issue is. The Computer once had a several BSOD in succession, but works again. It also happend while watching a movie.

I also get a Blackscreen randomly without doing anything. The screen becomes black, sometimes red, and works again after a reset. Therefore i guess it is GPU related but i am not very sure, because it also happend just while watching a movie.

    Hi PRoxx,

    Welcome to the 10forums *Smile

Please check MSI for BIOS updates.

Code: Error code: (NTSTATUS) 0xc0000428 (3221226536) - Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source.[/quote] So, taking in account the latest crashes and this error, our first step is to look for possible problems in the hardware and/or Windows files.

    System File Check
    Please try following:
    • Open an admin command prompt
    • Copy/paste "sfc /scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
    • When it is finished reboot your system
    • Open again an admin command prompt
    • Enter sfc/scannow again
If sfc/scannow says "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them" after the second SFC, please upload the cbs.log file located at %systemroot%\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.

Make a photo of SFC and post it.

BSOD playing Games like CIV 6 [IMG]

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

    Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.
If errors show up and you see them a lot later, no problem, the errors don't affect the test.

I already updated my System specs and MSI BIOS. I also did the System FIle Check, which basically said that there are no corrupt files .
