Windows 10: BSOD PROBLEMS ON LENOVO 1ST GEN X1 CARBON

I NEED HELP!!! I am experiencing constant BSOD´s on my Lenovo laptop. I´ve upgraded all drivers and I still get BSOD´s at the most inopportune moments. The BSOD´s seem to occur in spurts and I will even have a hard time having windows 10 come back up. I have the minidumps, my laptop's MSINFO and the Speccy info i can send you.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5th Gen Laptop Recall

Dear Valued Lenovo Customer,

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and in the interests of public safety, Lenovo is voluntarily recalling some ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5th Generation laptops.

Lenovo has determined that a limited number of such laptops may have an unfastened screw that could damage the laptop’s battery causing overheating, potentially posing a fire hazard.

ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5th Generation laptops manufactured on or after November 1, 2017 are not affected.

To confirm if your ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5th Generation laptop (Machine Types: 20HQ, 20HR, 20K3, 20K4) is affected, follow the instructions below in the "Determine if my laptop is being recalled" section.

Lenovo is offering a free service inspection program for all affected ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5th Generation laptops. If your laptop is confirmed to be affected, follow the instructions below in the "My laptop is affected" section.

W8Phone connecting BlueTooth to Lenovo Carbon X1

trying to connect my Nokia 822 to my Lenovo Carbon X1 running W8.1. the phone displays the Bluetooth code but I am not prompted by the PC for the code. I've connected other Bluetooth devices to PC but they did not require code.

any suggestions.

This is a known issue according to Lenovo that will be corrected in V1803. ( CDP Proximal Transport )

"CDP Proximal Transport" appears in Device Manager - Windows 10 Version 1709 (October 2017) - FR

It says this can be ignored.

Now that is out of the way.

So your device is not listed in device manager so windows doesn't see it. Next place to look is BIOS. It very well is a feature that you can either enable or disable. Please enter BIOS and look.
