    BSOD random crashes, SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION + MEMORY_CORRUPTION

Alright so I've been having a number of BSOD crashes but the main one that keeps coming back deals with System_Service_Exception (luafv.sys). I've been to other forums and was directed here. From what I understand it has to do with some driver that's causing problems. Another BSOD I've encountered is Memory_Corruption (WmiPrvSE.exe). There is not one event that seems to cause this as it happens at anytime and not every time which is frustrating. I've tried to pinpoint the driver with no success and have also tried repairing windows in the case that there are corrupt files with SFC/scannow which found corrupt files but could not repair them. I also tried DISM in command prompt with no luck and in powershell which just froze on 96%. Tried to use a source IMG file which resulted in the source could not be found. In addition, I've done 2 fresh installs of windows with the same result. I am at the mercy of anyone. Please help *Sad I've also included A previous minidump file since windows deletes them after a while if that helps.

    :)

  3. BSOD after testing drivers through driver verifier

Sorry this took so late to respond. Been busy but my drivers seem to be ok after an hour of testing them! I'm still getting random BSOD crashes though. I had my PC work fine (even do a long session in playing video games) for two days and then BOOM, "PROCESS
HAS LOCKED PAGES" BSOD with the cause being "memory_corruption"

    111117-6765-01.dmp

Here's the Minidump. It's been the same dump everytime this happens. Not sure what triggers it.

When you did fresh installs what did you mean?
Did you delete partitions, format the drive, make an unallocated drive, install the operating system from a windows 10 iso?
    Restore
    reset save files
    reset remove files
    in place upgrade repair

Follow the steps in this link to perform a clean install: Clean Install Windows 10 Windows 10 Installation Upgrade Tutorials

For the clean install make sure that you are not using a metered connection.

The bios on the computer is BIOS Version/Date Award Software International, Inc. F10a, 1/24/2013
Please check to see that this is the latest bios for the computer and update to the latest version.

The last fresh install I booted from a USB stick and deleted the partitions, formatted it, then installed. Once windows was installed I connected my secondary drives. Last time I checked on a bios update it said it was a beta bios so I figured I'd stay away from that. Should I update it? And if so would it even be worth it to pull the battery to reset CMOS or just update it then try and do a fresh install of windows?

The win dbg did not find a definitive misbehaving driver.
Windows error reporting though did display 1 misbehaving driver.
Please replace the Nvidia graphics driver.
See below all of the Nvidia and additional troubleshooting steps.
There were additional bsod in the windows error reporting so after fixing the Nvidia driver there will be steps to look for additional misbehaving drivers.

    1) Please make sure the bios is up to date.
The information on the bios currently displays:
BIOS Version/Date Award Software International, Inc. F10a, 1/24/2013

    2) back up files
    3) create an image of the drive using Macrium:
Macrium Software | Your Image is Everything
    4) place the backup image on another drive
    5) create a brand new restore point
    6) reset the bios to stock (make sure there is no over clocking during the troubleshooting)
See these links to reset the bios:

How to Clear Your Computers CMOS to Reset BIOS Settings:
How to Clear Your Computers CMOS to Reset BIOS Settings

3 Ways to Reset Your BIOS - wikiHow:
3 Ways to Reset Your BIOS - wikiHow

Once the bios is reset power on the computer and open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste these commands:

    1) sfc /scannow

    2) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    3) chkdsk /scan

When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

    4) Windows failed fast startup > turn off Windows fast startup:
Turn On or Off Fast Startup in Windows 10 Windows 10 Performance Maintenance Tutorials

    5) Run Memtest86+ version 5.01 for 8 or more passes.
Use this link: Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool
There are other software companies that make software to test memory. Please use memtest86+
Run memtest86+ version 5.01 for at least 8 passes.
This may take many hours so plan to run it overnight.
It may take 1 - 2 hours / GB RAM
If there is just 1 error that is a fail and you can abort testing.
Then test 1 RAM at a time in the same DIMM.
For each test there must be at least 8 passes.
    The more passes the better.
Less than 8 passes is wasting time and is an inadequate test.
Testing will need to be repeated to get a satisfactory test.
Testing less that 8 passes produces too high an incidence of false negatives.
A false negative is a pass on the test with malfunctioning RAM.
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool
When Memtest86+ has completed 8 or more runs use a camera or smart phone camera to take a picture and then post the images of the results into the thread.

MemTest86+ - Test RAM Windows 10 BSOD Tutorials

If the RAM testing passes plan to use windows driver verifier to find misbehaving drivers.
Please read these link to understand how to use the tool:

    6) The best way to fix the misbehaving Nvidia driver is to uninstall everything Nvidia using Display driver uninstaller and install new drivers from the computer manufacturer's website or from the Nvidia website.

The computer manufacturer's web site is preferred. Enter the computer's serial or product number and the operating system to view available drivers.

If you use the Nvidia web site be sure the "clean install" box is checked and only install the graphics driver and the physx driver.
