  1. BSOD Random crashes


    So I have gotten a couple BSOD errors in the past 2 weeks. One was something with the WatchDog and the other was a System Service Exception. I'll be honest not a big fan of 10 but had to move as I needed a new key and all I had was a 10 key hahahaha.

    anyways been having nothing but issues with 10 since installing it, any help I can get would be great!

    Already did a full run down of the tower and reseated everything and cleaned. tried a {SFC /SCANNOW} no results. also did a clean wipe of all drivers and reinstalled them with still issues.

    Constant Crashing / BSOD

    Hey. I've been having issues with my computer crashing or bluescreening. The time inbetween the crashes are random, and the messages in the BSOD's are seemingly random. If you need anything to help ID the problem, please let me know.

    Hi,

    Since I upgraded my Windows 7 to Windows 10 in August, I collect the BSODs once for each day :

    - Driver IRQL Not Less Or Equal (Boot)

    - Bad Pool Caller (Random crash)

    - Bad Pool Header (Random crash)

    - System Service Exception (Random crash)

    - Interrupt Exception Not Handled (Boot)

    - IRQL Not Less Or Equal (Random crash)

    - PFN List Corrupt (Random crash)

    - Kernel Security Check Failure (Random crash)

    - Internal Power Error (Random crash)

    - Kernel Locked Stack At Exit (Reboot)

    - System Thread Exception Not Handled (Boot)

    Is it a problem with the Nvidia driver ?

    I updated the driver yesterday but the BSOD still occurs.

    BSOD Random crashes

    The event log shows a Windows Hardware Error Architecture (WHEA) error reported by a processor which was a cache hierarchy error that was correctable. I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to be happening.

    The 0x101 bugcheck (CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT) happens because a secondary processor (one of the CPU cores) has not responded to a very high level interrupt within a certain amount of time.

    The 0x3B bugcheck (SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION) was caused by kernel code trying to access invalid memory. These have many possible causes including an unstable overclock.

    I would recommend undoing the overclock on your CPU and seeing if the problems continue. There is also a newer BIOS available for your motherboard here.

I have tried to update my bios but I am unable to do so someting about it can't be verified, and as for the over clock I was not aware I had anything over clocked x.x. and when I just tried to do a windows update meaning at start up I got a blus screen stating Attttempted to write to readonly memory......

    BSOD Random crashes

    The old and the new bugcheck codes are 0x3B and it seems to be happening in a process with the filename "tianyu.exe". Do you know what that process is? A search comes up with links suggesting it could be malware.

    It looks like the CPU is still overclocked. According to this page the base clock is 4.0 GHz with a maximum boost of 4.2 GHz and yours is running at 4.335 GHz.

I removed thhhe Asus tuning app and reverted the bios to default but said no changes were made. also ran thhe game in compat mode for windows 7 and moved the game files causing thhe screen to a seperate hdd and see if keeping thhe windows files and game files seperate work. I'll let you know. past 10 mins good thus far.
