Windows 10: BSOD Random, Faulty_Hardware_Corrupted_Page and NTFS_File_System

Since a few months, I have been having BSOD's now and then (a few times a week), I can't find a pattern.
Most often it is FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE, but just now when I was creating this thread I got a NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM. I have attached the Beta Log Collector output of before and after this, so I think the minidumps of the one contains the data of the FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE and the other one of the NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM.

What I already tried but did not help:
- check for BIOS, driver and Windows updates
- turn off fast start up
- mdsched
- sfc /scannow
- dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
- chkdsk /scan
- debloat Windows

Random BSOD while browsing internet


BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.

In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.

 

Random BSOD FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE


Hello there.
I getting BSOD randomly on windows 10 on my ASUS K550JK. I tried the ASUS forum but, with respect, they suck on support. I've tried the new drivers and the original ones (Windows 8). Whocrashed logs keeps telling me that it may be a memory hardware problem but i ran memtest all night and not a single error.
These are the most common BSOD:
FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE
DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION
I have attached the DM Log Collector Tool logs for more details.

The FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE bug check has a value of 0x00000128. This bug check indicates that a single-bit error was found in this page. This is a hardware memory error.

Step 2:

If you are unable to boot to the desktop, I suggest you to run Startup repair from Advance boot option.

It may ask you to insert the Installation DVD/USB while doing startup repair.

You have to create an installation media for that.

Once your media is ready follow the steps.

  After you boot your computer using Windows 10 CD/ DVD or System Repair Disc, a black screen appears with gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press any key.

  Next, choose the operating system by clicking on its button.

  Windows 10 will look for problems on hard drive(s) and verify that all required files are intact.
