BSOD related to driver watchdog.sys soon after trying to run Stable Diffusion

My Dell XPS 9530 laptop, which I bought about a month ago, gave me a blue screen of death about half an hour after I ran Stable Diffusion, which I set up using this guide. This particular laptop has Windows 11 Home and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card, with the Game Ready driver version 546.17. The driver supplied by Dell is a few months older, but it came with a driver autoupdate tool GeForce Experience that provided me with the newer version. When I tried to run Stable Diffusion on my laptop on November 29th 2023, it locked up entirely for a few minutes before Stable Diffusion displ

Getting DCP_Watchdog_violation errors related to Netwt04.sys

Thank you guys so much; I'll do the update and see if anything pop ups

    - - - Updated - - -

I had updated the NVIDIA driver as linked in the post above, but I fear I just received another DCP watchdog violation error related to WppRecorder.sys just an hour upon booting up the computer. I had up a youtube video on chrome, so I don't think it was anything demanding. I'll enclose the dump files from the most recent crash. Thank you in advance. Should I be rolling it back?

    - - - Updated - - -

Unfortunately, updating the NVIDIA driver did not stop the BSODs; most of them are related to the Netwtw04.sys driver. I'll enclose some new minidump files (although one was unable to load/save/write because the BSOD occurred before it was finished writing).

    - - - Updated - - -

I have resorted to disabling my network adapter to see if it would alleviate the issues and operate using an ethernet cable. Unfortunately, I ended up getting another BSOD related to rt640x64.sys instead. Enclosed is the minidump.

BSOD related to driver watchdog.sys soon after trying to run Stable Diffusion

    BSOD- atikmpag.sys

This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:
    • Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
    • Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
    • After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers

Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.

I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.

    Best of luck! *Toast :toast:
