    Hello,

    I have been getting this BSOD.
    MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION
    STOP: 0x0000009C ( 0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFF800192F2BCF0, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000)

    Windows 10 is unstable, frequent BSOD, but works in Safe Mode

    (1) Your error looks a lot like what Patrick Barker addressed in here...

    Since yours, too, is an ASUS, try what he said regarding "Asus' AI Suite, AI Charger software, etc.". He said, "remove
    it ASAP".

    (2) Since the computer is good in Safe Mode, the next step is to see whether it will work in a clean boot...

    That isn't tough to set up. If the computer works well in a clean boot, try the detective work the article suggests to discover the culprit startup app or process.

    Motherboard: Asus A7V8X-X (Via KT400) (purchased in fall, 2003)

    STOP: 0x0000009C MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION was an unstable core, with my
    T'bred 2000+ AIUCB, it starts doing that at 2055 Mhz.
    I would get that BSOD when playing Goldeneye and when there was a lot of explosions (Nintendo 64 emulation) with probably both PJ64 and 1964.
    I heard that the AIUCB stepping sucks.

    And when I ran Prime95, Prime95 usually gave an error within roughly 45 minutes.

    Prime95 sometimes reported "ILLEGAL SUMOUT" 100 times.
