    I have been having BSOD regarding "system thread exception" and checked the event viewer and it is giving bug code 268435582. It occurs once a day and has recently happened twice today. Sometimes it even occurs when coming from wake or when going to sleep it just says QR Code 30.

    Hi Mohamed,

    The SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bug check has a value of 0x0000007E. This bug check indicates that a system thread generated an exception that the error handler did not catch. I suggest you to try the steps in the following Microsoft MSDN article
    and check if it helps.

    • What is the make and model of the computer?
    • Did you receive any value or error code with the error?
    • Did you install any third party security application?
    This issue may arise due to the following reasons:


    • Corrupted device drivers.

    • Corruption in Windows registry.

    • Driver conflicts.
    It could be better, if I get the exact error code or value to provide advance troubleshooting steps.

    As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to remove all the external devices connected to the computer and check if it helps to resolve the issue.
