Windows 10: BSoD Thread Stuck in the driver

Hello team, before I state my question. Here's the system I currently use:


Asrock a320m-hdv

Ryzen 3 3200g with Vega 8 APU

8gb Ram

240 SSD

1TB HDD

armaggeddon 235fx


I've been getting that bluescreen a lot saying thread stuck in the device driver. This becomes quite frequent, every time I play Dota 2.

At first, I thought it's because there was too much RAM usage that triggers it. But later, I've checked and made sure that I run my computer to be in low RAM usage, then I start the game. it quite helpful for few days and so.


But then, it becomes frequent to date, and up to this point, I'm afraid to play any games on my system. I hope this information is enough for your team to overlook on this matter.

BSOD - Thread Stuck In Device Driver

I keep getting the (BSOD) Blue Screen Of Death that shows the error message, "THREAD STUCK IN DEVICE DRIVER"

After a reboot, the machine works fine - sometimes only for a few hours, other times up to a day or to before it seemingly inexplicably displays the BSOD again.

My System Info is as follows:

Windows 10 Pro

HP ProBook 450 G1

Intel Core i5

RAM 8 GB

64 Bit

What steps do I need to take to fix this?

The Thread Stuck In Device Driver error is caused by a driver file being caught in an endless loop while it waits for the hardware to enter idle state. Performing a series of updates will usually resolve this issue and since you have updated your motherboard
BIOS as well as the graphics and audio drivers, you can perform the Windows updates. Here's how:

• Open Start Menu and click on Settings >
  Update & Security settings > Windows Update.
• Click on the Check for updates button.
• If any updates are available, they will be offered to you.

BSOD - Thread Stuck In Driver.

hi I've built a custom pc (I can go deeper in details in specs if needed)
and I have this problem where if I'm play a game like, Minecraft when I quit the game Minecraft, I get the BSOD.

also when I am in a fullscreen game and I click on my second monitor it will also give me the BSOD (thread stuck in driver)

(p.s) i dont know how to share minidump files or anything like that. if i need to please tell me how
