Windows 10: BSOD Thread_stuck and Memory_management

Discus and support BSOD Thread_stuck and Memory_management in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; How long is memtest supposed to take?     BSOD Thread_stuck and Memory_management


    How long is memtest supposed to take? I've tried it previously but 8 passes takes over 24hours for me.

    8 passes could take up to 20h+ for 16GB.
    8 passes for 8GB, what most users have, takes around 8-10h and for that amount it is recommended to run the test overnight so it has finished when you wake up.

    That isn't MemTest86+ I suggested, I recommend that you run MemTest86+

    So I've been trying to make a bootable drive for memtest86+, but it won't boot. Saying missing operating system.

    BSOD Thread_stuck and Memory_management

    Check if fast startup is disabled, in many cases (if not all) it needs to be disabled.
    Fast Startup - Turn On or Off in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

    Then you may also need to change a setting in the BIOS in 'BIOS Features' > 'Windows 8', I'm not sure which one but if it is necessary and disabling fast startup isn't enough then the boot mode needs to be changed to legacy.

    I tried those and even tried just completely resetting the CMOS with only the flash drive plugged in.

    Do you have another USB that is bootable on which you can put MemTest86+ on?

    I tired another USB and still got:
    "Missing operating system.
    BOOTMGR is missing
    Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to Restart
    _"

    That is odd, I've never seen that problem before.

    What is your boot order?

    The boot order shouldn't matter, using boot override should only boot from the device I select. But as I said earlier I disconnected every drive except for usb to test it.
