Windows 10: BSOD Thread_stuck and Memory_management

Discus and support BSOD Thread_stuck and Memory_management in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; I don't think the installer is working properly, is there a better alternative to make bootable usb media? I don't think the installer is working properly, is there a better alternative to make bootable usb media?

The boot order indeed doesn't matter in the BIOS (unless a user has edited the boot order what sometimes happens) it was just a question out of curiosity to see if a problem was present in there *Smile

Boot override shouldn't be necessary, the maximum that one would have to do is choosing the USB device from the boot options.

  3. Almost 100% sure it isn't installing properly to the flash drives, I just tried it on my laptop and it doesn't work either.

I also have 3 more bluescreen dumps if you need them.

Yes, but preferred through a zip from the DM tool.
Could you also give some description about what happened when the crashes occured.

I would like to test the memory, but with another method > replacing with another kit.

  6. I don't have a spare kit, is there another way to put memtest86+ on a USB drive

The only way is through the installation of MemTest86+, you could also use a CD to do it but a USB is usually recommended as that is easier.

I just ran MemTest86+ on my laptop with 0 problems, I did edit a few settings to see what changed hence the reason why there are 103 passes in less than 10 minutes.

Here are the new logs Attachment 81623, so I'm just supposed to run the memtest86+ installer and use the usb drive path? Or am I doing it wrong?

  9. So I took out the 2 newest dimms and it seems to have increased stability tremendously, I'll check the ram slots if i don't get any blue screens in the next few days.

Be sure that you upload a new zip please, the zip you attached is 3-4 days old & the same that has been uploaded a few days ago.

According to the last dump, from 22th, your memory runs at 1600MHz which according to the specs of your memory is overclocking.
Overclocking can cause problems, either immediately or in a matter of time, please revert all overclocking back to stock while troubleshooting.

  11. My ram is running at stock speed, but anyways here is the new dumps (Attachment 81714).

All of them are caused by memory corruption, though 1 of them is blaming a Windows network driver but it is because of a memory access violation which can occur with memory corruption, none of the dumps blame a specific driver not from Windows.

So the RAM seems to have been the issue, I haven't blue screened in quite a while. The one thing is, I got a new SSD and did a clean install. Everything seems to be great, except my google chrome is acting weird. It becomes unresponsive when trying to browse while a different tab is open, any ideas?

    A first thought:
Please disable hardware acceleration in chrome if it is enabled
    • In the right upper corner, click on
      BSOD Thread_stuck and Memory_management [IMG]
      and choose settings.
    • Scroll below and click on 'advanced settings', scroll all the way to the end of the settings.
    • In the part 'system' is the option to enable/disable hardware acceleration.
    • If this option is enabled disable it

A second thought, what extensions are installed?
