    BSOD/Unable to clean install

Hi there, I bought a PC about 4 months ago, all has been working smoothly until about 4 days ago, I got a BSOD. Restarted the PC and went to boot it to repair it using the BIOS. On restoring the PC (wiping everything, didn't have many files that needed keeping) it froze on "just a moment" for over 36 hours. I left it on as long as possible but as it was frozen for that long, I forced shut it down. I decided to try and repair the start up from the harddrive but it asked me to sign into the account "defaultuser0" which I do not have the password for as it's a Windows default. I've tried creating a USB with the Windows install on it from Bootcamp on my Mac (downloaded the ISO from the Microsoft website) but the screen is just black on boot with a cursor in top left hand corner. I am trying to clean install Windows but it just won't work, any help will be greatly appreciated. (AMD Ryzen 5 2600, RX 590 8GB Graphics)

  2. Clean Install Workaround for Vista

You may remember this news story on techPowerUp! a couple of days ago relating to the lack of clean installs when using the Upgrade Editions of Vista, which required an old OS to be installed. However, Paul Thurrott has managed to find a workaround for this issue, which ironically lets users do a clean install Vista without any previous version of Windows, albeit a little tedious. Here are the steps:
    • Boot from the Windows Vista Upgrade DVD as normal
    • When prompted for a product code, leave this blank
    • Select the version of Vista you have purchased and let Vista install
    • When you boot to your desktop for the first time, run the Vista setup from Windows
    • This time enter your product key
    • When asked whether you want to do an Upgrade of Custom install, select custom and choose a clean install
    • Windows will now install for a second time and you should be able to activate it
Remember, these steps are only advised for use in order to achieve a clean install of Vista, it is only legal to use the upgrade editions if you have previously purchased the appropriate version of Windows.

    7 different BSoD

First off this is what I went through once I installed them 11.1 drivers . BSOD till I had to reinstall the OS .
It seems that some maybe missing the point here this STARTED for you after you installed the 11.1 drivers and then as it would seem you are getting them after a clean install of the old drivers . Correct ? If so have you wiped the HDD and did a clean install of the OS ?
If not then I would do this before thinking your cards are going out .

Windows 10 infinite restart black screen

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
