  1. BSOD upon trying to log in, just upgraded

So, as the title suggests, I have just upgraded my Desktop PC to Windows 10 as I was under the impression that the Free Upgrade would expire soon (I have since learned it expires June of next year, GG me).

I completed the upgrade 5 days ago, took about an hour and forty minutes to fully upgrade. It takes me to the log in screen and I type in the password and It just sort of...sits there. Any time I type in the password or click on anything other than the options on the login screen and the screen fades into white as it becomes unresponsive, then few seconds afterwords the screen turns black and then after another 3-4 seconds, my PC reboots as if the power has been turned off.

I don't really know much of the Specs of my PC, as that's never really mattered to me before. I know the Model is an HP Pavilion p6000 and I have own it since 2010. I'm not sure if my PC is too old to handle Win 10
I know before the upgrade I had 280 Gigs of memory left out of 450, so it shouldn't be a memory issue.

I tried submitting this problem to r/Windows10 and they suggested I try and boot the computer in Safe Mode...I honestly didn't know what Safe Mode was so I was lead here, to the Forum. I've tried obtaining Safe mode by turning it on/off twice in a row to trigger the auto repair and it took me to thing screen.
    Windows 10 Help Forums
I tried clicking on the "US" option...and my mouse wouldn't show up.

So, the point is, for whatever reason I can't log in to my PC now. I'm sorry if this is a long winded post but i'm honestly at the end of my rope and I'm using my laptop to type this. I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me.

    :)

  2. VISTA x64, BSOD and WUDFRD.SYS

After using Nokia PC Suite 6.83.14 with Vista Ultimate 64 for a year, it BSOD on me while trying to sync with my N91. I use both of my N91 and E60 on the same system.

I download version 6.85.14 manually and upgraded my Nokia PC Suite. The upgrade also updated my N91 firmware upon connection. Upon rebooting my Vista, the system BSOD once it connected to my N91. I found out that if you have iTunes 7.6 installed, the USB GEAR
driver in iTunes was unstable for Vista 64. So, I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes 7.6. Now my Vista does not BSOD upon sync with either my N91 or E60.

  3. BSOD with error message: video scheduler internal error

    Hi Patricia,

Received a BSOD again upon waking from sleep. Same stop code as previously noted. I took a look in the event log and saw pretty much the same thing as before pertaining to the bug check. I'll try to research more later and see if I get more information
    to share.

BSOD upon trying to log in, just upgraded

    Hi GGGrahamcracker,

    Welcome to the 10forums.

Just to note, your description is mainly about system freezes.

Could you give me a stopcode of the BSOD?
When you get 3 BSOD crashes straight, you should get the troubleshooting menu from where you can enter safe mode.

I understand you get no BSOD?

  7. Well, I assumed the BSOD not only stood for Blue Screen, but also Black Screen of Death...Am I wrong? If I'm submitting to the wrong section of the site, then I'm sorry

In this section it is Bluescreen, not blackscreen *Wink

I have notified the moderators, your thread should be moved soon to the right part of the forum.
