Windows 10: BSOD Video_TDR_Failure igdkmd64.sys while using bluestacks

Currently display adapter on Microsoft Basic Display Adapter

 

I decided to get it from WU since it it last version number is 4248 thats the same one as manufacturer also Intel released 2 driver compatible but they cause more BSOD'S AND DRIVER CRASHES

I have also found chipset updates from driver manufacturer websites along with wayyy more other updates. Seems like HP Support Assistant need re-installing or updating

 

Honestly I wouldn't trust programs that notify you for driver updates or such even when it is from the manufacturer, but that is my opinion coming from personal experience.
On the other hand, it is always good to update software.

I was just installing updates from manufacturers when I had to restart now I get boot failures and BSOD on boot I cannt get into Windows 10. BSOD ERROR:error page fault in nonpaged area on boot
Basically nw i get BSOD'S ON BOOT tried safe mode won't boot still.

 

This BSOD happened also after using DDU to UNINSTALL INTEL DRIVERS. But I used system restre point and it wrked but if I do it again highly likely going t come back again. I think a 3rd party driver is causing all of this*Sad

 

Please check {windows partition}\windows\minidump and check if the dump files are saved.

 

I managed to fix it by doing bootrec commands on startup repair now i can successfully boot into windows but the crash dumps of the BSOD on boot are not saved? Do you know any programs that identify drivers also 3rd party ones so I can analyse if there are 3rd party drivers causing this?

It is a program that we use, but it isn't exactly easy to do.

 

I ran SFC /SCANNOW everyting is ok

Now I am running: dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and: dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth

Shall I use Windbg

 

How can you install it ? from Microsoft or TENFORUMS? Can you give link?

 

You want to learn debugging BSOD's?

 

Anything that can help remove BSOD'S occuring and Driver Crashes. If debugging helps why not.

 

I downloaded the lastest updates software chipsets etc.... from manufacturer website. Have to make a post in HP forum that Hp suport assistance not giving updates*Mad

 

I have said it, but I'll say it again.
It is better to NOT use programs that notify you for driver updates.
It is better to manually check for updates once in a while.
