BSOD when downloading games on steam

I just got a new computer built and got a new monitor along with it but a problem has arose. I can use the computer but when something that required a lot of RAM or just a lot of priority to open for example "Steam" the software in which you can download games and such (Basically XBOX or Play Station but for computer), It just lags a little bit and goes to no signal. I know the problem isn't with the monitor because I've tested other monitors and I have done the same with the cable. I'm using a DVI cable not a VGA. I have updated my drivers for my graphics card several times and on the GeForce Experience application it says my drivers are up to date. HELP!

    :)

    BSODs, help plz

Hello guys, I found that every time when I started gaming for about 10 minutes, a BSOD would show up. This happened on every game except the cracked version of CSGO that I downloaded from the Internet. The genuine version of CSGO I downloaded from Steam
gets me a BSOD every time but the cracked version do not. That makes me wonder maybe there are some settings in the cracked version of CSGO avoided the BSOD. Can you think of anything that might be the cause?

  3. Windows 10 Bsod Unexpected_kernel_mode_trap in Steam.

Having some trouble installing a game on Steam. A while back I downloaded an update for dota, and since then my computer has been bsod when interacting with it. I uninstalled and tried to reinstall and now it keeps bsod whenever i attempt to reinstall.
It would also bsod whenever i tried to delete any .vpk files within the dota file. Only thing i have to go off of is the unexpected_kernel_mode_trap. I've updated all drivers, reinstalled graphics driver, and even uninstalled and reinstalled steam. everything
i can think of. Nothing else i've done will trigger the bsod. seems isolated with steam but i'm not sure. Anyone have some ideas i can try ?

[SOLVED] So I found out the problem, I was looking at my task manager for a while and I came to the realization that my disk was running extremely HIGH "99-100%" and when it did run really high I found that's when I would crash. So I did some research and I did these things to help it.
Fix 1: Click the windows start button
    Click "Settings"
    Click "System"
    Click "Notifications & Actions"
    Scroll Down
Untick "Show me tips about windows"
You can untick all the other ones if you want that's what I did
Fix 2: Click windows start button
    Type "run"
    Click "run"
    In "run" type "services.msc"
A tab should open in that tab look for something called "Superfetch"
Once you find "Superfetch" right click it and click "stop"
(Tip: If you are still getting high disk percentages just close anything that is causing it even if it's windows

    [Re-Fix]
I actually didn't fix the problem that time the problem was in a whole other nature. My hard drive failed because it has disk errors which is related to the hardware. So the only fix is getting a new harddrive on my part. But I do recommend to do the steps I put above because it does make opening apps a lot faster ect.
