  1. BSOD when playing games, error 0x03b and system service exception

This is my computer: IAmNice - Profiel - Wenslijst - Tweakers
And Im mostly getting BSOD system service exception, sometimes memory mangement error(only 2-3 times though) and sometimes a different one.
I have tested my ram using memtest, tested harddrive with hdd tool and did some other stresstests like prime95.
Im getting the BSOD's when im playing games such as CS:GO, LoL or even Hearthstone. I reinstalled windows 3x, updated my drivers, checked for virus but I still get a BSOD every few days. Sometimes I can play for days and nothing happens. Sometimes I get a 3 crashes a day. I just reinstalled my computer and got 3 crashes in the past 3 weeks.
I hope someone can help me out. I have more dumps in a dropbox account. If you want more just tell me.

    :)

  2. BSOD, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION BSOD

I've been on windows 10 for quite a while now (at least 6-10 months). Recently, my computer started having these System Service Exception BSOD while under high loads: playing games, running a virtual box, installing programs etc etc etc. They are infrequent
enough that i can browse the internet and play a few games but annoying enough that its causing all kinds of problems when i try to play some of the more graphical and CPU heavy games.

Yesterday i decided to reinstall windows 10 fresh as a result of the system_service_exception BSODs that i was getting figuring that perhaps the problem was undetectable malware or a fragmented registry, but after i was able to reinstall windows i started
getting the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD/pointer errors. WhoCrashed shows that its probably a software problem but it doesn't give me any specificity.

I asked this same question on the tom's hardware forums with my DMP files and a guy said that it might be my Razer keyboard drivers which would make some sense considering that I just had to start using this keyboard because my newer one (Razer blackwidow
ultimate) suddenly died. I reinstalled the drivers and removed the service in hopes that that would fix things and it stopped the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD (at least to my knowledge) but instead I got a system service error while attempting to play a game.
I also ran Memtest86 last night for about 10 hours but there were no errors in my RAM sticks and I tried to run driver verifier but it got hung in a boot loop on my Sata controller driver due to verification problems and nothing that would actually cause
    these errors.

If anyone has any ideas that might help me i would appreciate it.

    My rig:

    asustek m5a99fx pro R2.0 + AMD FX 8350

16 gigs DDR3 RAM, 1T HD, Nvidia GTX 770 GPU

BSOD Kernel Check failure when playing games and sometimes random at times

    Hey,

I have an Acer timelineX 4830T non-Nvidia video card version. I've been trying to fix this for some time but haven't got any luck so far. The BSOD problem started to appear when I wake up, the night before everything was fine.

The problem is I keep getting BSOD Kernel check failure when playing games after a couple of minutes of playing.

I also sometimes get BSOD System service exception at a random time, don't know what causes this.

What I do know is sometimes when I get BSOD, it is when I'm pushing the casing of my laptop inside, like carrying it or resting my hands on the laptop, on the left side of the case.

Also when I get BSOD my screen suddenly have red flicker instead of the normal blue.

    Here's my dump file: MEGA

If anyone knows how to fix this, please help me.

BSOD when playing games, error 0x03b and system service exception

    Hi Double0Seven,

    Welcome to the 10forums.

You have ran the built-in feature, MemTest86 or MemTest86+? How many passes if MemTest86(+)?
It is recommended to do MemTest86+

    Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

    DRIVER VERIFIER

BSOD when playing games, error 0x03b and system service exception [IMG]
Warning Please make a backup of your important files and get your rescue media or create one.
    Please create a restore point.
Please follow this tutorial to run driver verifier.

Some windows drivers are blamed in a few crashes, but that usually means that a 3rd party driver is actually the cause.
Driver verifier stresses your drivers and will crash your pc if any driver fails due to a violation.

Driver verifier should be performed for a max of 48 hours, or when you have a bluescreen, whatever comes first.

If driver verifier has found a violation and you can't get back into windows normally, try to boot into safe mode and reset in safe mode driver verifier, or in the troubleshooting options open command prompt and type verifier /reset.

Note Your system will act very sluggishly while driver verifier is enabled, this is normal as your drivers will be being subjected to heavy testing in order to make them crash.

Please fill in your system specsPlease go to this site and download the tool. The tool will give you detailed information about your system specs, please fill in your system specs more completely. How to fill in your system specs:

  5. Yes I ran memtest 86+ for 10 passes. I did it for both sticks seperately. I already used driver verifier some time ago and didnt mange to find any crashes. I will update my system specs but I also posted it in the OP.

You have indeed posted some specs, but there are some specs missing.
Please make your system specs complete.

    Please download and install Speccy.

When you have installed and opened Speccy, click on RAM and click SPD -> Slot #1 (every slot) -> Timing table
    It looks like

    Please try the following:

    • Open an admin command prompt
    • Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
    • When it finished reboot your system
    • Open again an admin command prompt
    • Enter sfc/scannow again
If sfc/scannow does NOT say "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation", please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.

  10. Ok first scan found some corrupt files and did manged to fix them
Second scan found no more corrupt files.
I will upload the cbs.log of the first scan. As you said its a big file so I uploaded it in my dropbox. Dropbox - CBS.log

Btw 3 months ago I ran sfc/scannow and it also found corrupt files. It did managed to fix them but I remember 6-7 weeks ago I ran it again and I got corrupt files again. Why do my files keep becoming corrupt?

Windows update delivers once in a month a huge set of security updates and in the mean time sometimes extra updates.
These updates bring changes to your system, sometimes it might go wrong and some files are missing, become corrupted or have other problems.

After installing updates it is smart to check if the system files are as they should be, to prevent or solve problems.

Btw, the cbs.log file doesn't contain any problems I can find.

  12. Ok thank you.
But why couldnt you see any problems? sfc/scannow did say it was fixing my corrupt files. Or did you not find any big problems related to my hardware?

If sfc said it was fixing corrupted files, then that is the reason why I cannot find them.

  14. Ok thanks. Ill run sfc/scannow after any big windows update. If I get a bsod I can always upload it here right?

It is prefered yes, it would be useless to start a new thread for a BSOD while there is a thread already open and not solved.
