    BSOD when running Adobe Photoshop Error: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE


    I'm using the most recently updated version of Windows on my laptop, and trying to use the Adobe Photoshop program. The program always opens without trouble, but as soon as I attempt to upload a photo from my cloud into the application, it freezes, and my laptop restarts with the blue screen and the error message "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE". I tried uninstalling and reinstalling my device driver, which did nothing, as well as uninstalling/reinstalling the application. I need to use this application for a project that I have due soon, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    As you are facing issues with accessing Adobe Photoshop, do not worry we will help you with this issue.

    Do let us know the following to assist you better with this issue:

    • What is the complete error message/ error code of this issue?
    • Have you made any changes to the operating system prior to this issue?
    • Have you tried to install the latest version of Adobe Photoshop on your device?

    As a workaround, I suggest you to check if there is any latest version of Adobe Photoshop released. If so, try to install it and check if the issue persists.

    Error 6 on Adobe Photoshop CS4

    Hi all,

    I have Adobe Photoshop CS4 on my work computer and wanted a copy on my Laptop so I copied the program folder onto a flash driver. With previous versions of Adobe photoshop and illustrator I have been able to run them straight of the flash drive on my laptop. No such luck with Photoshop CS4 though, I get error 6, I'm guessing some kind of license issue? Anyone know how I can fix this? I have windows vista.

    Adobe Photoshop hangs

    Photoshop starts to load, then hangs on "Reading Text Global Resources... Done" The problem started on Windows 7, so I hoped that when I changed to Windows 10 the problem would stop, but it still persists. The latest version of Photoshop is not for sale,
    only for a lease on a monthly payment, so I didn't go for this, as I don't uses it often enough.
