    BSOD when snapping Microsoft Management Console


    Just added a 4k TV (now main display) to my dual 1080p monitor PC setup and noticed that when I was using Event Viewer, snapping the event viewer window from the 4k display to the 1080p monitor using win key + arrows instantly causes an unexpected kernel mode trap. But just with Event viewer (mmc). any other app I open on my pc are fine.

    Seems like it just cant handle the scaling and instantly crashes. Anyone else with a 4k + 1080p setup out there able to reproduce this? Open event viewer on the 4k (main) display and try snapping it to the 1080p monitor.

    Obviously I can just drag and drop it and that's fine and it works that way. I almost never use event viewer but I thought this an oddly specific scenario so I wanted to check if anyone online can test in a similar setup.

    Windows 10 20H2, all 3 displays plugged into an rtx 2060 super graphics card. No issues outside of snapping event viewer

    Microsoft Management Console - Waiting for Snap-Ins to Complete

    Hello,

    I recently awoke my laptop from sleep mode and up popped a message saying "Waiting for Snap-Ins to Complete" from Microsoft Management Console.

    I have no idea what Microsoft Management Console is and have no idea what Snap-Ins are or why my laptop was waiting for them to complete.

    Is this an issue for me or is this completely normal?

    MMC crashes when I try to add the certificate snap-in and getting error message "Microsoft Management Console has stopped working" on Windows 10.

    Original Title: MMC crashes when adding certificate snap-in

    On Windows 10, my MMC crashes when I try to add the certificate snap-in. When I click "Ok" after having added the snap-in (computer account, local computer) the message: "Microsoft Management Console has stopped working" and I am offered a debug option.

    There are no further error messages.

    I have tried to run "sfc /scannow" and found nothing to repair.

    My "programs and features" list looks like this:
