Ok. From the tests you asked me to do, only CPU stress test is left. I will do that tonight and let you know. CPU might be case since I bought second hand CPU without checking it. Also, I will reset driver verifier today.

Please first try to update the drivers and see if you still getting BSOD's before doing the stress test *Smile

Check drivers of all the parts? Could you please recommend me a software that checks update for all the devices? Or should I manually try to look for updates from each and individual device providers(Intel, ASUS etc,..)?

I have been trying to update my drivers from Windows Device Manager.

Nobody here will recommend you any software that updates drivers for you, this because these software can't be trusted.
You should manually check the site of Intel for drivers.

Windows Device Manager isn't the place to update your drivers, in almost all cases it will say your driver is up to date.
Even when a driver is from 2006 and there are updates available from this year windows device manager will say the driver is up to date. (This is the case with my SSD *Tongue)

I have just finished running Prime95 test. Ran it for 3 hours and no errors were found. Tried to update my Intel drivers and no new updates were found nor installed. But I am wondering something. You said it might be my CPU driver problem. My question is can you update CPU's driver? For example, my CPU is Intel i7-2600k and its current driver version is 10.0.240.XXXX. I dont really know if you actually can update Intel CPU driver itself. If its possible could you please tell me how?

One method I want try is to install Windows 8 on my desktop. On my motherboard box it says it is Windows 8.1 ready. So I am guessing all the drivers will not have any problem with Windows 8. Is it correct? Will there be any difference?

    Thank you!

Which of the 3 options in Prime95 did you choose to test with?
You went to the Intel Downloadcenter and searched there for a possible driver update?

I would say that windows 8 and windows 8.1 are almost the same, so I doubt there will be a problem.

I chose the first option SMALL FFT.
I did go to that link. Maybe I didnt make myself clear. I do understand that I have to look for updates for Ethernet, Wireless, Graphics and such. But is it possible to update the driver of actual CPU. Intel i7-2600K CPU driver. I couldnt find anything regarding the actual CPU itself. Only found things like Processor Diagnostic tool and Identification utility.

It should be possible yes, if there are updates available.
Try 1 of the other options in the prime95 stress test.

Ran prime95 again on "in place Large FFT" option for 4 hours. No errors were found. I still cant figure out how to update my CPU driver. Looked for updates from Intel but could not find anything related to CPU (i7-2600k) itself.

  11. Software usually isn't to be trusted but it can make your life easier sometimes. Look for a chipset driver update with 3DP Chip: 3DP Chip download

I have just checked for driver updates and you are correct.

    Please do the following:

    • Open an admin command prompt
    • Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
    • When it finished reboot your system
    • Open again an admin command prompt
    • Enter sfc/scannow again

If sfc/scannow does not say "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation", please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.

Do you still have bluescreens? If you do, please upload the zip file.

Just did the scannow. On both tries it said "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.". The last BSOD occured two days ago. I am going to try playing CS:GO now and see if BSOD occurs. If does, I will post the zip file here again.
