BSOD while attempting to pair bluetooth headset back to system

    Hi!
I am not sure what the exact cause of my BSOD was but I noticed my Logitech H600 headset seems to keep dying very fast so I was continually plugging it back in via USB. I would take it out and charge it for 20 minutes and then use it but it would die again so I would plug it back in. This happened a few times. I just decided to keep it plugged in but when I stepped away from my PC and came back I noticed I had no sound coming from it. I decided to remove the headset and pair it back up with the pairing tool. Nothing seemed to be working though as I was attempting this repairing. As I was doing this the BSOD occurred. When the PC started back up my audio was back. I am just keeping the device plugged directly in with the usb micro charging cord for now as long as the audio is coming through. Does my information show anything that could have caused the BSOD that is easily fixed?

    Please help!

    Thanks!

    :)

  2. Bluetooth audio headset not recognized by Windows - won't pair/connect

    Hi,

I've run into a problem recently with pairing my wireless Bose Soundsport headphones to my PC. Up until recently, the headphones paired and worked fine with my PC and iPhone simultaneously. I have 2 pairs of these exact headphones, and neither of them connect to this PC. However, they still connect to any other device.

The problem I am experiencing has persisted ever since I installed a graphics driver update via the GeForce Experience application (version 397.64, released on 05/09/2018). I updated this driver as a result of a few Memory_Management BSOD's and crashes while playing Fortnite.

Before anyone says, "Have you tried a troubleshooter / reinstall bluetooth drivers / make device discoverable / etc..." , please know that I've gone through the basic steps to solve problems like these. The only thing I haven't done is revert to a previous graphics driver - as I'd rather not do that. From a few hours of research, I haven't seen a problem similar to this.

    What I Am Experiencing:
    - I've paired and un-paired this device many times in the past. So I know the procedure.
    - When I set the headphones to "Ready to Pair", the device name is expected to appear in the device list after clicking "Add Bluetooth or other device" in Windows Bluetooth settings.
    - Instead, I only see an audio device called "Headphone" that, when clicked, will just say "Connecting..." indefinitely (see attached image).

In the past, the "Add Bluetooth or other device" would display the name of the device (Bose Soundsport), whereas now it only displays "Headphone". Why can my PC only see the headphones?

Bluetooth headset paired, but can't connect

I am also facing the same issue. Windows 10 has brought nothing but all sorts of problem and issues along with it.. mine crashes now and then and i am presented a beautiful blue screen of death all of sudden losing all of my work. This is really annoying
and unfortunately there is no support or fixes..

Coming to your issue, every time i try to connect my Bluetooth headset i have to go through all the sufferings you are facing.

Suggest removing the device and pair again. It always work for the first time and next time again you have to remove the device and pair again.

    Steps

    1. Go to Bluetooth Settings

    2. Under Manager Bluetooth Devices > you should see your paired headset

    3. When you click that you should see > Remove Device option

    4. Click on remove device

    5. Pair your headset again and it should work

Next once you disconnected your headset, you may need to follow all the steps again at least i have to do all that every time i try to connect my headset.

Plantronics Bluetooth 975 headset doesn't pair with Nokia Lumia 920

    Hello GioBu,

Thank you for your contribution on the forum Microsoft.

If you are having trouble with Pairing your headset with your WIndows Phone, here a few things you can try to fix the problem :

    • Restart your phone. Press and hold the
      Power

BSOD while attempting to pair bluetooth headset back to system hardware-icon-power-button_InvariantCulture_Default.png
button, then slide down on the screen when prompted. Turn your phone on again.

    • Delete the pairing between your Bluetooth device and phone, then pair again. Deleting the pairing and then

      pairing
again can sometimes help solve the problem. To delete your phone's pairing with the device, go to
      Settings

      >
      Bluetooth
, tap and hold the Bluetooth device, then tap
Delete. Make sure the pairing information is also deleted from the device in your car. (See the documentation that came with your car or the device to learn how to do this.) Then,

      pair
your phone with the Bluetooth device again.

    • Try a different Windows Phone. Do you have friends or family nearby who have a Windows Phone? If so, try using their phone in your car and see if that works. This can help to rule out some issues or narrow down the problem.

    • Check the documentation for your Headset Bluetooth system. See the documentation that came with your Headset system. Some Headset require additional set-up steps.
