Windows 10: BSOD while playing Total War Warhammer 2

Hey guys.

A week ago i started playing Total War Warhammer 2 but it turns out that something seems wrong with my PC. I get random BSOD's (sometimes after playing 5 minutes,sometimes it runs fine for hours). I tried updating my drivers but it didn't really help much.

The BSOD codes are mostly KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED and IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL. I attached the zip file from the v2 collector.

BSOD playing Total War Warhammer 2, error 0x0000009c

my current system specs are:
1.Intel Core-I5 4670k oced 4.0ghz (using hyper212 cpu fan cooling)
2.Asus Sabertooth Z87 motherboard
3.Samsung 840 120GB SSD for windows
4.WD 2 TB Black HDD
5.Coolermaster 750 GX PSU
6.Asus STRIX 1070 GTX 8GB
7.Gskill 12 GB ram (2 x 2 gb)+(2 x 4 gb) DDR3

Recently I have been getting machine check exception BSOD everytime I play total war warhammer 2 , with other games I didn't encounter this BSOD or during normal usage like browsing or watching videos.

It's happening only when I play warhammer 2 like after I finish a battle or randomly around 10 mins of gameplay.

I tried doing prime95 small fup tests and also intel cpu diagnostic tool both have passed test without any BSOD.

I would appreciate any help on the issue and I hope its not a hardware fault.

Warhammer Total War Crashes


While playing Warhammer Total War, I get the RSOD, BSOD and Windows Errors.

BSOD playing Total War Warhammer II, 0x00000133


I today started playing the campaign mode in Warhammer II; after finishing a battle and entering the loading screen back to the campaign map, I'll get a DPC_watchdog_violation BSOD.

This is the only game that produces the BSOD and only in the above circumstances. I've updated pretty much every driver I can think of (short of a BIOS update) and tried the simple proposed fixes for a DPC_watchdog_violation. I do have my CPU and GPU overclocked, but have still get a BSOD after disabling them.

Any help would be appreciated.
