    BSOD WIN 10 PC V1909


    Got a BSOD while working in Quicken 2017 .


    Description


    The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x000000c2 0x000000000000000d, 0xffff82856a30ebc0, 0x00000000ffff8285, 0x9044f8f00870e2d8. A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\020920-18312-01.dmp. Report Id: c59a49bc-35a9-45a6-a678-ab059d28ebad.


    Previously installed Java update


    Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: Java 8 Update 241. Product Version: 8.0.2410.7. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Oracle Corporation. Installation success or error status: 0.

    BSOD UPGRADING FROM WIN 10 PRO V1903 to V1909

    Sumit,

    This morning I successfully upgraded to WIN 10 V1909 without any BSOD or any other issue so far.

    Amazing that one leftover driver file caused all of this grief!!!

    BSOD UPGRADING FROM WIN 10 PRO V1903 to V1909

    I found another thread about ArcCtrl causing BSOD in WIN 10 updates.

    September 2019 update with BSOD at reboot

    Recommended using Autoruns64 to locate and delete ArcCtrl. I tried this and successfully removed ArcCtrl.

    I will try again tomorrow to install V1909. Will update again after that.

    BSOD WIN 10 PC V1909

    WINDOWS 10 V1909 BSOD

    I successfully updated to WIN 10 V1909 and have been using it with out problems for some time. Today, I got a BSOD, auto rebooted successfully. Looked at the reliability monitor and found the reboot critical event were a hardware error followed by an
    unexpectant shutdown. This was after two WINDOWS updates were installed :
