Windows 10: BSOD: Windows 10: Page fault in nonpaged area (solved)

No, this is NOT a bad RAM memory problem. Nor is it a corrupted pagefile. I could reproduce this error to!


Problem / cause is the following option:

Settings: Time & Language: Language: Language Settings for Administrators (right column): Change System country settings (free translation): ENABLE Bèta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for world wide languages support


When I enable this option and reboot my Windows 10 (English installation, localized with Dutch language packs), I'll get the Page fault in nonpaged area.


The only way out is a system restore OR somebody needs to reply to this article with which registry setting gets flipped once you enable that option. Then, in command prompt / system restore you should be able to open regedit.exe and correct the offending settings.

Hi,

my computer starting showing a new BSOD stating "page fault in nonpaged areas" .The computer keeps on restarting and every time I get the same BSOD.

When i inserted the bootable usb ,I selected the setup option and again the BSOD (page fault in nonpaged areas) appears .

I can't even restart in safe mode because again I get the BSOD.

earlier my computer was stuck in an infinite automatic repair loop and suddenly when I turned it ON the next time I got the BSOD (page fault in nonpaged areas)..

So please help me fast..
