Hello I have just built a new PC with the following specs and it gives me BSOD every 5 mins or so. How can I locate the minidump files to share them with you? I have the following specs

    CPU: Ryzen 7 2700

    RAM: Corsair 3200Mhz XMP enabled

MB: Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite (latest Bios version F50)

    GPU: ASUS RX 560 AREZ EVO-OG 4G

    PSU Corsair TX 550M

I have checked temps with HWinfo and everything is at 30 Celsius completely normal.

    Thanks in advance

    :)

    kill dwm.exe windows 10 pro 64bit

    I found this link

What is dwm.exe and why is it using so much memory?

With this note: "The steps below only work for Windows Vista and Windows 7. Desktop Windows Manager is not displayed in the Services window on Windows 8 and Windows 10, and therefore cannot be turned off or disabled."

These links have suggestions for improving performance:

    I would start here:

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    BSOD - ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY - Windows 10 Pro 64bit...

I would like to point to another thing, that is the memory controller. It frames the limiting factor of the usage of RAM. Your Motherboard warns you about in:
That is what you are pointed to, twice, in post #136 and in post #151.

There should be a way to enhance the capabilities of the CPU hardware to make it support the RAM with more speed. But IMHO that will fall within the scope of Overclocking. But that will be a different topic. In this section of the forum we concentrate on how to make the Programs free from BSODs.
