    BSODs on Asus X541UAK

After yet another 2 BSODs consecutively (4 in total within an hour today), I went ahead with the newest driver provided by Microsoft (July 2017). Is this driver by Microsoft safe? I've experienced BSODs with all other drivers (all 2016 versions + May 2017 version). What should I do? I've uploaded the newest log files here. Thank you!

The BSODs have been recurrent and have displayed RTWLANE as the recurrent misbehaving driver.
See the information in post #2 thatt BSODHunter had provided.
For Asus notebooks there is a problem with the latest driver producing BSOD.
The 2017 driver has been producing BSOD on Asus notebooks.
To fix you should turn off windows updates of non-Microsoft drivers and roll back this driver.
Enable or Disable Driver Updates in Windows Update in Windows 10 Windows Update Activation Tutorials
There were a lot of threads several months ago with this misbehaving driver.
At this time I dont remember whether it was the 2015 or 2016 that worked.
So you will want to test either one or both of these drivers.
Use device manager if possible to roll back the driver.
If the roll back is not available then you will need to uninstall and reinstall RTWLANE.

Hi @zbook, appreciate your help. The problem is that none of the rolled back drivers worked for me (all caused more BSODs than the May 2017 driver). The 4 BSODs today were caused by the oldest 2016 driver and the other available 2016 driver also caused BSOD. I am trying the new July 2017 driver today (haven't tried this before) from Windows and am hoping it works. Is this safe?

    BSODs on Asus X541UAK

The 2017 RTWLANE drivers in Asus notebooks had produced BSOD in many threads.
You may have installed the 2015 or 2016 drivers and had not turned off Windows updates of non-Microsoft drivers.
If the 2015 or 2016 were updated to the 2017 driver then you would have had recurrent BSOD.
So turn off the Windwos update of non-Microsoft drivers and try the 2015 and 2016 drivers again.

I did turn off the windows updating of drivers back in early October and can confirm that the 2 rtwlane.sys drivers in 2016 were causing the most recent BSODs (about 6 in total) which was more than the May 2017 driver. There is no 2015 driver available. Just installed the July 2017 driver (which is the only version I haven't tried, hoping this is the solution) before uploading my latest log, as the 2016 drivers would cause BSODs and my computer couldn't even get past the login screen before BSOD. Should I try the rollback again (despite the 2016 drivers causing many BSODs in a row, or continue to give the July 2017 driver [not the May 2017 driver which caused issues] a chance)? Thank you
