im not sure when i last posted a log collecter but there are 22 dumps form different blue screens hopefully there are symbols available so you can read them.

since i did a clean install of windows all the dumps are new i'm afraid

the most important ones for me to find out atm are the latest 3 or 4 as they are all the same error coder (iqrl not equal or less) so most likly the same thing causing the issue

The 12/30 dump indicates a problem with athw8x.sys.
Code: ffff9700`7ff5c6d8 fffff803`d52a2466Unable to load image \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\athw8x.sys, Win32 error 0n2 *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for athw8x.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for athw8x.sys athw8x+0x152466
This is Qualcomm Atheros AR938x Wireless Network Adapter. The date on the installed one is 28/01/2016. There is a 10.0.0.341 version dated 2016-05-20 [May '16].

Also noticed there is a 3007 BIOS update available. You currently have 2202.

is this the correct page for getting the wireless adapter pieces? Download Qualcomm Atheros wireless driver 10.0.0.341 for Windows 10

as when i downloaded it it came as a zip folder with some .cat, .inf and .sys files of which i have no clue where to put them usually drivers just dome as a .exe file that you click to install them all

i've managed to get it to work by searching my computer for the drives after i downloaded the files.

im hoping that you could take a look at another dump for me at tell me the source of it, its a security check failure. only thing i can think of is its form google updates but i'd rather nip it now than turn the updates off and still have the issue, logs attached, its the last one on the list, thanks

Yes, that looks like the right driver.
In the latest dump, athw8x.sys is still the same as before though. Not sure how you installed it, but do the following.

1. Unzip the file to a folder.
2. Start Device Manager (Windows key + R, type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.
3. Expand Network adapters then right click on the wireless device and select Update driver software...
4. Click on Browse my computer for driver software.
5. Navigate to the folder you unzip the driver into and click on OK.

Nothing useful in the latest dump:
Code: BugCheck A, {640, 2, 0, fffff8026246e3f0} Probably caused by : memory_corruption Followup: memory_corruption
Did you already ran memtest86+ (note the +)? If not, need to do so. I'll post the instructions just in case:
===================================================
Follow this tutorial: MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 Forums

MemTest86+ is a diagnostic tool designed to test Random Access Memory (RAM) for faults. MemTest86+ will verify that:

• RAM will accept and keep random patterns of data sent to it
• There are no errors when different parts of memory try to interact
• There are no conflicts between memory addresses

Memtest86+ runs from bootable media to isolate the RAM from the system, no other components are taken into account during the test.

BSoD's while playing WoW and forum trawling [IMG]
Warning MemTest86+ needs to run for at least 8 passes to be anywhere near conclusive, anything less will not give a complete analysis of the RAM.

If you are asked to run MemTest86+ by a Ten Forums member make sure you run the full 8 passes for conclusive results. If you run less than 8 passes you will be asked to run it again.

BSoD's while playing WoW and forum trawling [IMG]
Note MemTest86+ has been known to discover errors in RAM in later passes than the eighth pass. This is for information only; if you feel there is a definite problem with the RAM and 8 passes have shown no errors feel free to continue for longer.

Running 8 passes of MemTest86+ is a long and drawn out exercise and the more RAM you have the longer it will take. It's recommended to run MemTest86+ just before you go to bed and leave it overnight.

I still suspect the CPU is the real cause of the problems you are seeng but there is no way to test that other than replace it.

Did you use memtest86+? Did you run for a minimum of 8 full passes? It doesn't scan graphics ram.

yes and yes

that's strange as it was scanning 16-18 gb of 16 gb as the last part of each pass and as my specs say i have 2 8 gb ram sticks

Not sure what else to look at.

I checked your device drivers and I see some pretty old ones:

Code: 2010/10/05 00:30:57 C:\Windows\system32\drivers\ElcMouLFlt.sys 2010/11/30 05:42:46 C:\Windows\system32\drivers\ElcMouUFlt.sys
Driver Description: Kaspersky Lower Mouse Device Filter driver
Driver Update Site: http://usa.kaspersky.com/downloads/

Uninstall Kaspersky anti-virus.
Make sure Windows Defender and Windows Firewall are enabled.

Run that way for awhile to test, see if that resolves the problem.

this is very strange are you sure you are looking at the right log file? as i don't have Kaspersky anti-virus on my computer or any kaspersky drivers on my computer i never have, there is also nothing in the registry for kaspersky.

Sorry just realised we used the SSD from my old pc when we built this one we may have had kaspersky on that for a while.
Should I format then reintal windows on the SSD to remove any old drivers and files?

Hi Rich thanx for your assistance, before I shell out for a new CPU which I,m mostly convinced is the issue I would like to try formatting my SSD and reinstaling windows and any fresh drivers, If you think that there is anyway that would help?
It is possible kaspersky was on my old pc for a bit and as such some remnants may still be on the SSD.

Definitely try a clean install of Windows 10 first.

Follow this tutorial: Windows 10 - Clean Install

Did you do anything with the Elcom mouse driver?
