Windows 10: BSOF when attempting to install Windows 10 update 1909

So for a while I've been trying to update windows 10 to the version 1909, but at the end it always fails and reverts the update. I'm not sure why it does this or what causes it. When looking at the update history I see that it failed to update with the error 0xc1900101. I looked into that error and found the rollback error log.

2020-01-19 15:55:19, Error [SetupPlatform.exe] failed to find partition by offset 999679852544. Error: 0X12
2020-01-19 15:55:19, Error SP CSetupPlatformOSSwitchCheckpoint::Rollback: Failed to restore WinRE from the backup directory. hr = 0x00000000


That's what's in the log file. I'm not sure what it means so if anyone could help out I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
