    Buffalo NAS Linkstation shares not appearing and name not resolving

    I have 2 Buffalo Linkstation Nas drives as below;

    LS-WSGL
    LS420

    The shares which were previously mapped are not accessible via explorer I get error messages such as below;

    s:\ is not accessible
    or ' The local device name is already in use'

    I run nas navigator2 both Nas drives are displayed

    I try to right click and browse shares most times nothing happens or it thinks about it.

    When it does work it uses the IP address for example as below;

    \\192.168.0.51\Music

    Rather than the name, the name does not resolve so I map a share using IP hoping it will work that way next time but the next time that doesn't work.

    It's quite random, on rare occassion existing shares work by name most times not.

    Mostly I have to run Nas Navigator2 and browse share with it working sometimes by IP.

    This is on Windows 10 by the way and I am lost to as what is happening.

    I have selected SMB 1 through Windows Features FYI
