    BUG: Can't reinstall Windows 10 app from MS Store to same drive


    Downloaded a UWP game to a drive, uninstalled it and it freed up the space. But now can't redownload or reinstall it to the same drive. It just "completes" instantly. With no download taking place or no hard drive space being used up. Just a start menu entry I can right-click and uninstall again. No change after a reboot.

    Since the WPSystem and WindowsApp folders are protected/obfuscated, how do I fix this? Thanks in advance.

    64-bit build 1903 Windows 10 Pro.

    Did not work for me. I troed it 3 times, allways got an error.

    Reinstalling Windows 10 to sell a PC - is the 'Remove everything' option enough?

    Restore factory settings do list Removes your personal files, apps and settings, and reinstalls the version of Windows that came on this PC.

    So if this isn't true well than just erase the drive and install a clean Windows 10 with all the drivers u need but why should it be true
