Windows 10: Bug Fix Check: 0xc0000244...

Good afternoon,


I am currently getting the below Bug Fix Check when two of the computers that I support blue screen and then restart.


Bug Fix Check: 0xc000244


I have logged into the computers and verified that the log files are not full and also increased the log file size to 20480KB.


I am not sure what could be stopping the log file from being backed up.


I have also performed a System Restore however after two to three days the error occurs again.


I did research and found that previous versions of Windows have a hotfix related to this error.


I am currently thinking it may either be malware, a virus or a corrupt user profile.


Any help will be much appreciated.

Follow either of these steps to fix the issue with the Active window hiding behind.

Method 1:
I suggest you to disable window by hovering over it with the mouse and check if it helps. To do so I suggest you to try the below given steps and check if it helps:

1. Press Windows key + X key and click on Control Panel.
2. Select or click Ease of Access.
3. Click or tap onEase of Access Centre.
4. Click on Make the Mouse Easier to Use was uncheck Activate Window by hovering over it with the mouse.
5. Check if issue is resolved.

Method 2:
I would suggest you to completely uninstall the touchpad driver and reinstall it. Kindly follow the below given steps.

1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.
2. In the list of devices, you should see the touchpad drivers.
3. Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".
4. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
5. In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.

If you are able to log-in to the desktop, try few of the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Run Memory Diagnostic Tool.

Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows key and type
  Memory Diagnostic.
• Select Windows Memory Diagnostics
  and click on Restart now and check for problems.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 2: Run the Power Troubleshooter


Power troubleshooter find and fix problems with your computer's power settings to conserve power and extent battery life

  Type Troubleshooting in the
  Search bar on the desktop and press Enter.
  
• 
  In the Troubleshooting window, click on
  View All on the left pane.
  
• 
  Click on Power.
  
• 
  Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.
  

Step 3: I suggest you to check for the pending updates on your device install them and check if it helps.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.
