Bugcheck 7F almost daily after Connected Standby

Unfortunately is it possible to have no drivers flagged with driver verifier what is the case now, probably because a minidump contains very little data compared to a kernel dump.

Please keep verifier running and be prepared of system freezes.

2. Should I go to system properties to enable complete dumps?

No, I wouldn't be able to debug a complete dump + a complete dump would contain much of useless data.

I prefer to keep it to minidumps for now *Smile

Ran 2 days straight with no reboots, then another one.

However this time the Bugcheck code was 14F. I remember seeing this occasionally.

An Intel controller driver has been flagged.
Honestly, it looks to me like a bug from updating to Windows 10.

6. Hmm... Intel I2C, this one is going to be tricky to fix. There are like at 7 devices that uses this driver that hooks up all the peripherals. There is a Windows Update driver for this but it would cause the attached devices to be undetected.

Attachment 58766

Once again the strange thing is I'm the only one having this problem with this driver it seems.

How so?
I don't have a Windows tablet, so I don't know what would happen with a tablet.

You see those devices under it, the HID touchscreen, sensors? Those would all go missing if I update the I2C driver. If I do this to the controllers with my touchscreen and pen attached, I'm soft-bricked. Lucky last time I did it I have an OTC cable handy so I could revive it using a USB keyboard and mouse.

Old driver:
Attachment 58777

New driver:

That is the part I just can't understand, I mean you would expect that the drivers would be installed again after a reboot.

10. The only thing I can think of is that there are some incompatibility with this particular driver with the Asus firmware, causing the child devices to go undetected. If anything official Asus support tells us to use the 8.1 drivers, which are the ones that are causing the 14F.

Another theory is that for the 14F, this is due to a bad flex cable in my tablet, rather than the 7F. I've heard of similar issues with Surfaces and the keyboard docks, where the dock when it connnects and disconnects it causes the BSODs.

Honestly I'm about to give up on this... maybe if I win the lottery I'll get an X1 tablet and replace both my tablet and laptop which is slow as molasses after going 10.

If possible, please cleanup your storage a little.
This sometimes causes problems, the storage needs to have 25GB+ free space.

12.
That's not quite possible when my whole tablet has 64GB and my programs and system files are already more than half...

These tablets don't come in sizes greater than 64GB usually yet it hosts a full Windows install.

I was already afraid of that.

Would you please try to boot in safe mode and see if you can cause a crash?
Safe mode would make it easier for troubleshooting to find out if the problem is hardware related or software.

14. Another 7F. Moved some stuff to my SD card, hopefully this works, there's 28GB constant now. I'll run a disk cleanup as well to get rid of the earlier dumps.

I can't find much else then outdated drivers.

Please try to reinstall Malwarebytes:
Clean removal: https://support.malwarebytes.org/cus...5311?b_id=6438
Install: Free Cyber Security & Anti-Malware Software

I noticed the tcpip.sys driver which is a driver related to the network, as the Broadcom network drivers have already been updated/reinstalled a reinstallation of Malwarebytes
Code: 884da1cc 891d7db8 tcpip!TCPIP_AOAC_FAILFAST
Note The tcpip.sys hasn't caused any crashes, but it relates to Malwarebytes + Malwarebytes Web Access Control driver is outdated
