  1. Bugcheck BSOD 0x139 Kernel Security Check Failure

I've been suffering from this BSOD for months now, and its getting real annoying. The BSOD just happens out of nowhere and I am often forced to do a hard reset of the computer because the automatic restart bugs out on me.

I have already run sfc scannow, as well as several runs of chkdsk of various formats as well as checking my drivers if they are outdated, but nothing seems to stop this bugcheck BSOD, and the reliability history gives nothing as to the problem other than the error code and the BSOD reason, and thats about it.

    I'm running Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.17134 Build 17134.

    :)

Power issue with the kernel, and the Kernel Security Check Failure BSODs

I have been getting 'Kernel Security Check Failure' BSODs sometimes when I start the vpn client or rarely when I start Kaspersky 17, but never ever when I play demanding games and never while browsing. And today in Windows Events I found the error is kernel power. Yes, I changed the PSU (to CORSAIR CS850M), but do the symptoms say so? Nvidia driver updated, temps are fine too.

  3. BSOD - Kernel Security Check Failure

    Hi Ashton,

There's a lot of reason for booting in to a BSOD, like problems with the driver for your display adapter or the
video output is being sent to an unexpected port. KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE error is usually caused by Memory or Driver incompatibility issues or corruption of system data.
In order for us to efficiently assist you, we just have few questions for you:

    • Were there any changes made to your computer prior to the issue?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    Regards.
