    Buggy Windows 10 OS


    Whenever I open my pc which uses Windows 10 operating system, it works perfectly fine for a few minutes. Soon after that, suddenly nothing works anymore: no application will open, I can't check my emails and even the settings app is useless now. This only started today, and yesterday 17/9/23 I installed an update and left my computer for the night. Could this issue be because of the updated I installed earlier or is it a fault of the operating system? And can anyone tell me how to fix it? The update is: 2023-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems KB5030211

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
