Build 18875.rs_prerelease.190405-1518 instead of the May 2019 update

    Hi!
Just saw a post from april 8 saying that the may update is available in the "Release Preview" ring. Saw this post yesterday and my computer already received theBuild 18875.rs_prerelease.190405-1518.

I want to get the May update because I want to be on a stable Windows and opt out of the Windows Insider program, but I'm not sure how to do this.
Can someone help me please? It would be really appreciate!

    Thank you in advance!

P.S.: Sorry for my english. I'm not perfectly bilingual. I'm speaking french.

    :)

    Hi hbja

My name is Andre Da Costa; an Independent Consultant, Windows Insider MVP and Windows & Devices for IT MVP. I'm here to help you with your problem.

Because you are running a Windows Insider Preview build, you might be seeing defects or bugs in the build you are using, which is still under development. I suggest you use the Feedback Hub to submit a bug report detailing your problem.

I would make sure all drivers have been updated and also check for the latest updates.

Go to Start -> Settings -> Update & security, then Check for updates and install any available updates.

You might also want to try resetting your BIOS defaults to see if it helps:

    Try resetting your BIOS defaults:

If that does not work and you have a desktop computer...

    Power down

    Unplug it

    Open the system unit

    Remove the CMOS CR-2032 chip

Plug it in, start the machine, wait 10 seconds

Power down, unplug it, reinstall the CMOS CR-2032 chip

Plug it in again, power up

If that does not work, I recommend you rollback and try with a later build:
