  1. Build 19041 Issues

I lost my email - rebuilt it from backups

I lost my turbo tax 2019 - am rebuilding it from a backup

I lost all my saved passwords - gone no rebuild

I lost my video display - had to resort to vga and reinstall video drivers

I lost printers - am trying to rebuild those connections now with driver reinstalls

Most of my apps - you click on them and nothing happens - after I get the other major services rebuilt will attempt a full reboot

This has to be the worse "upgrade" I was given little choice as it said on a restart it would finish the install.
I would usually create a backup first - but was given no chance to do that before the upgrade started

    Are others having similar issues?

    :)

Build 19041 Cannot select fast stays as slow

I am running Build 19041 and I usually am FAST on Insiders Settings. Now I cannot change from slow to fast.

    Thanks,

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

  4. Build 19041 Issues

Stuck on build 19018 - 0xc1900101 – 0x20017. installation failed in the safe_os phase during boot operation.

    Hi gabtzi,

I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 2-Year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

19041 has a fix for the same:

    https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/201...

We fixed an issue resulting in an increased number of Insiders experiencing rollbacks (error code 0xc1900101) when upgrading to recent builds.

I would suggest waiting for 19041+ ISO to be released(which can be as soon as next week) which should probably resolve the issue.
