Windows 10: Build 2004 - Does a LTE (WWAN - cellular) modem work for you?

I have Lenovo ThinkPad 8 tablet with Sierra Wireless EM7345 LTE modem (mini PCie). I couldn't connect after update from 1909 to 2004 Windows 10 build. I had to revert back to 1909.

I found similar reports in Feedback Hub for different LTE modems (feedback-hub:?contextid=99&feedbackid=9c1a8069-a244-4f4e-bd1e-36c05dc6beb6&form=1&src=1)

It seems to be a general 2004 build issue, but I'd like to confirm it first. Does it work for you?

What is the exact error message you're getting when you encounter the blue screen?

Have you tried updating your cellular modem to its latest driver? You can contact the modem manufacturer to check the latest compatible driver for Windows 10.

Using cellular data in my laptop

Hi Rich

On most Lenovo devices the Cellular connection is an optional paid-for extra. While the SIM card slow will exist on all models, the other component - an LTE card or chip may not exist on your particular model

I don't see a WWAN device listed in your Device Manager, which indicates, either your model does not have cellular capabilities or the device is not installed correctly

You should contact Lenovo support an find out if your model was supplied with an LTE chip or card . .
