Windows 10: Built in administrator in Windows server

I created a user in Windows server and i added that user to the Administrators group . But it lacks few privilege than Built in administrator. From few work i had done , i came to know that the reason is UAC enabled in my system. But I am not supposed to disable UAC in my server due to security policies .

Is there any way i can create a built in Admin user in my windows server ? Or I can add my local admin user to built in Administrators group ?

I badly need a user belongs to Built in user group , and i cannot disable UAC in my server . [ I cannot use the Administrator user who belongs to Built in Administrator group ]

Method 1: I suggest you to check if Built-in Administrator account is enabled. If so, try to disable.

Step 1: Follow the steps toDisable Built-in administrator.

• • Press Windows + X key together on your desktop screen.
    
  • Click on Command Prompt (admin) to open
    Command Prompt.
  • Type the following command and hit Enter:
  • net user administrator /active: no (Check for the spaces)
    

Restart the computer and check with the status of this issue.

Settings can't be opened using the built-in administrator account


Hello,
Unfortunately I have the same issue as Dabz from upgrading win7 to win10.
I've tried opening settings using all the suggested methods and it will not load using my account with Administrator access nor the built-in Administrator profile. I also tried other methods not listed such as using Run. Control panel is just a stepping stone to add users in Settings.
I'm also having explorer.exe issues, which I believe is preventing Settings from loading.
Using cmd (Admin) I successfully created a new user profile [and granted admin access also using cmd (Admin)], however win10 will not allow this account to log on. win10 does not list this new user within control panel but it does in the start menu. win10 will not allow to log in or switch to the new account via the start menu either.
I can access settings in Safe Mode but this will not allow me to create a new account.
Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
