Windows 10: Built-in Camera (ERROR CODE: 0xA00F4244) and Mic not working on Laptop

Hello all, I have a Razer Blade 15 Advanced Model from late 2018.

I've noticed that when I open the camera app on my laptop it tells me that it can't find my camera, and gives me the error code 0xA00F4244. I've noticed that now i have this error my built-in mic won't work either.

When I go into my device manager, it also doesn't show me my imaging device anymore.

Don't know if this helps but i have already contacted Razer and they told me to just factory reset my laptop, which did nothing sadly.

Internal Camera not working, 2 errors?

Hi guys!

My laptop: Lenovo ideapad 710S-13IKB (U3E1)
Operating sys: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Processor:i7-7500u
Storage:476GB NVMe SAMSUNG MZVLV512
RAM: Samsung K4EBE304EB-EGCF 2x8GB


Quite a while ago my webcam stopped working and i didnt bother because i wouldnt use it at all. But recently i wanted to use it, when i opened Camera app it showed 2 errors flashing continuously.

I went online and tried to reinstall the camera drivers but it still doesn't work, tried going into Lenovo Vantage to make sure camera privacy mode isn't on. Still not working...
Im currently using Mcafee Internet Security, but i'm not sure if it is interfering with the camera, i went into settings and cant find anything suggesting it is blocking access to camera.
There is a white light beside the camera flashing, so i doubt its a hardware issue.

Error code 0xA00F4244 No Cameras Are Attached

Whenever I click on the Microsoft camera app I get a message saying that "We can't find your camera" and the error code: 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached> The "Get Help thing troubleshooted it, and reset it. Still didn't work. It also had me look under Device
Manager and under camera/ imaging devices and my camera was not listed. Not sure if the device manager one only works for USB cameras though. Then the "Get Help" said "I don't have any further troubleshooting steps for this right now." and listed a
few options for getting help which led me here.

Compatibility could be one of the probable reasons why you have this error. What I can suggest is for you try and run the hardware troubleshooter. You can follow the steps below:

• Click the magnifying glass icon beside the Windows start menu.
• Type Troubleshooting.
• Select Hardware and Sound.
• Click Hardware and Devices from the options list.
• Click Next to run the Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.
