Windows 10: Built-in microphone not working after using headset mic

Discus and support Built-in microphone not working after using headset mic in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; When using a Turtle Beach headset for zoom calls the headset mic works fine, however when I unplug the headset the built-in laptop mic no longer works...     Built-in microphone not working after using headset mic


    When using a Turtle Beach headset for zoom calls the headset mic works fine, however when I unplug the headset the built-in laptop mic no longer works in zoom or other apps. In Windows sound settings the input bar moves to indicate it's picking up sound. Microphone privacy is set to allow access to apps and desktop apps.

    Headset Mic Not Working

    I really need some help.

    I have a Cloud Stinger HyperX headset.

    So the Microphone was working fine for many months then a few weeks ago it just stopped.

    It does not show up on my list of Recording Devices anymore.

    The only Mic I have is the one built in the computer.

    I have tried multiple solutions and nothing works. Any suggestions?

    My computer does not recognise my built-in headset microphone as a mic.

    Hello. I have a hyper cloud x headset with a built-in microphone. The microphone is plugged in and the headset too, i hear normally with it, but the mic isnt recognised as a recording device.What can i do?

    I want to use the microphone attached to the headset as I just bought the headset but my laptop is still using the built-in mic and the headset mic is not detected.
