  1. Burn to disk failed

I have Windows 10 Home 1903 and I have been using Burn to Disk to burn CDs and DVDs for about two years. Two weeks ago, the function failed. Now I'm told that the burn failed and the disk may be unusable. I have an installed burner and two USB burners. I'm getting the same result on all three. Therefore, I assume it must be the software. I got Windows 10 through an upgrade and don't have a disk to reinstall. What do I do? My last Windows update was 9/22/19. I can't switch to Windows Media Player because it too has crashed and two techs on **** couldn't solve that one, either. It's in my Optional list but every time I click on Download, the screen flashes and then I'm back to download. I got one report that the download failed because I was on a metered connection. I checked. Metered connection is not checked. I'm lost.

    :)

  2. Burning Files To cdr

I tried to drag a .txt file to the burn list, as suggested above, but it will not drop in. I get a message "+add to burn list" but I cannot get it to drop into the burn list. Is there another step I am missing?
