Windows 10: C:\Windows.old -- Why?

On ‏‎2018-11-06 14:04:52, a new folder: 'C:\Windows.old', appeared.

I performed a search for "14:04:52" and got a hit in 'C:\Windows\Logs\MoSetup\BlueBox.log'. Here's the pertinent entries:

'C:\Windows.old\Cleanup\' has no content.

I did not reinstall, reset, or refresh Windows.


What am I to make of this?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

okay ive done the same thing as you but i cant put the file back into the folder

• Copy nvlddmkm.sys in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\nv_dispi.inf_amd64_5518e59e8d3b48f4\ to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ and replace the existing one.
