after the new windows update of yesterday I keep getting a window that says:
"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSVCP140.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error...." when I run GOG galaxy that was working the day before!
I tried to install the program again, nothing. I tried with the redistributables, nothing. I don't know what else to do.
All I know is that every time windows releases an update, something in my pc stops working. :

I am layman does not understand all these technical jargon & unable to do all this.

Please help with some kind of simple step by step procedure which will help layman like me to fix this error of

After installing the latest updates to Windows 10 i.e. Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004, I am getting the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSVCP140.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.

Can you please help?
