    Hi Keith,

We suggest that you disable Credential Manager before mapping your Drives. Please follow these steps to disable Credential Manager:

    • In the search box type “Services
    • Right click on “Services” and select “Run as Administrator
    • In the Services Window, look for Credential Manager Service and click “Stop”.
    • Restart the computer and go back the Credential Manager Service and set it to “Automatic”.
    • Restart the computer again.

Please keep us updated if you were able to map your drives.

  3. When, oh when, will Microsoft correct the credentials manager error?

    Hi Russell,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

As a workaround I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it
    helps.

    • Open the Edge browse

    • Click on (…) More actions in the upper right corner of the browse

    • Click on "Settings

    • scroll to the bottom to "Advanced Settings”

    • click on "View advanced settings"

    • scroll down to "Privacy and services"

    • click on "Manage my saved passwords"

This shows the websites you have saved passwords for. They are listed in random order if you click on an entry it will display:

    • The URL

    • The Username
Select one of the entries and change one of the passwords, click on Save to Credential Manager and see all of your saved "Web Credentials”.

Also clear the Edge and Internet Explorer data caches (but not the password cache) and

Re-boot your PC before performing this fix.

    Hope it helps.
